What Is the Bruno Big Lifter Scooter Lift?
The Bruno Big Lifter is an interior-mounted mobility lift designed to raise and store scooters and power wheelchairs inside a variety of vehicles. The powered lift raises and lowers the mobility device, while the user manually guides it into or out of the vehicle.
The Big Lifter features an offset post design that allows compatible mobility devices to be unloaded from the side of the vehicle. Custom docking devices and vehicle-specific custom bases are available to support a precise installation.
The lift is designed for use in minivans, SUVs, crossovers, pickup trucks, and full-size vans. Vehicle and mobility device compatibility should be confirmed before installation.

- Power Raise/Lower – Raises and lowers your scooter or power wheelchair using powered operation.
- Low-Resistance Manual Rotation – Allows the lift and mobility device to be manually rotated with low resistance.

- Back-Off™ Backrest Removal Device – Available for many compatible scooters and powerchairs, allowing the backrest to be removed to help fit through shorter vehicle openings without removing the entire seat.

Bruno Big Lifter User Requirements
The Bruno Big Lifter requires the user to be able to:
- Walk from the front to the rear of the vehicle.
- Stand for approximately 2–3 minutes.
- Maintain adequate balance, hand dexterity, and strength to attach the docking device, including bending over.
- Manually guide the mobility device into and out of the vehicle.
Docking and Positioning Requirements
The user must be able to attach the docking device to the mobility equipment and manually guide the device into or out of the vehicle after the lift raises or lowers it. The docking process may require bending over and sufficient hand strength and dexterity.
