Bruno Space-Saver User Requirements

The Bruno Space-Saver requires the user to be able to:

• Walk from the front to the rear of the vehicle.
• Stand for approximately 2–3 minutes.
• Remember the sequence for simple lift assembly and disassembly, including positioning the three pieces in place.
• Press a button to raise and lower the lift strap.
• Maintain adequate balance, hand dexterity, and strength to attach the docking device, including bending over.
• Rotate and guide the scooter into and out of the vehicle as it is raised or lowered.

Assembly and Docking Requirements

The Space-Saver requires the user to assemble or disassemble the lift as needed. The assembly process involves placing three pieces into position. The user must also be able to attach the docking device and manually rotate and guide the mobility device during loading and unloading.
